“Ordubu-Deli Vindicated” — EFCC Arrests Dr. Mkor Months After Explosive Accusations by Millionaire Car Dealer

The truth erupts months after benue-born international car entrepreneur Haakyaa Peter clash with Dr. Mkor

In a dramatic twist that has shocked political circles and vindicated a once-criticized whistleblower, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Dr. Mkor Aondona, Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Documentation, Research, and Planning, on charges of sextortion, cyberbullying, and blackmail.

The arrest, which took place on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Makurdi, comes months after Benue-born international car entrepreneur Haakyaa Peter, popularly known as Ordubu Deli, publicly accused Dr. Aondona of serial exploitation of young women.

Back then, many scoffed at Ordubu-Deli’s revelations.

In a series of heated social media posts, the luxury car dealer, known for his business empire and connections with stars like Kizz Daniel, Victor Boniface, Obi Cubana amongst others described Dr. Mkor as a “predator who uses every opportunity and position he holds to prey on vulnerable girls.”

He alleged that Aondona had been dismissed from Benue State University for similar misconduct, yet was rewarded with a political appointment in Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration. Peter haakyaa boldly called him a “buffoon with selfish ambitions” who had no place in a government led by a reverend father.

The posts triggered controversy across Benue and beyond, dividing public opinion. While some hailed Ordubudeli’s boldness, others accused him of character assassination. Dr. Mkor dismissed the accusations, calling him a “drug-fueled lunatic” without proof.

But now the truth has caught up.

According to the EFCC, multiple female students petitioned the Commission, alleging that Dr. Aondona coerced them into sex by offering ushering jobs, which came with conditions of sexual compliance. The victims say he secretly recorded their encounters without consent and used the videos to blackmail them into ongoing sexual acts, threatening to leak the recordings.

Disturbingly, some of these explicit videos have reportedly begun circulating on social media and messaging platforms, a digital trail of evidence too strong to ignore.

EFCC sources confirmed that Dr. Aondona is currently in custody and will be charged to court as investigations wrap up.

Online, a storm of support for Ordubu Deli has erupted, with hashtags like #OrdubuWasRight, #JusticeForBenueGirls, and #MkorExposed trending across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.

Ordubu’s earlier accusations, once ridiculed, are now being seen as a courageous act of truth-telling. Many of his critics have gone silent, while others are offering apologies in light of recent events.

Political analysts say this moment is not just a scandal, it’s a reckoning. It raises serious questions about the vetting of political appointees, abuse of power, and the silencing of whistleblowers in Nigeria.

As the case unfolds, the people of Benue and the nation  will be watching to see if justice is served and if the Governor’s office takes responsibility for empowering someone whose dark past was no secret to those who dared to speak up.
